iKloetzchen 1.0 released

Hey guys,

some offtopic in my holidays ;-). I’m still try to catch up with all the todos I still have on my list. So here we go.

In the last two month Matthias Bruch and me got the Apple contract to publish applications to the app store. We bought an iMac and started to learn Cocoa (Obj-C). As we though about what we can code we thought about children games, though. If you have an iphone you are not playing games where you spend much time on, rigth?

What do children play? Build towers with “Kloetzchen” :-) … so we made a game where you have to build two towers on both screen sides to get to the next level. Try it!

iKloetzchen released on the App Store.

 Cheers Chris

    Hi Chris,

very nice first iPhone app! I bought it today and already finished it.

Having said that, here’s some feedback:

    - The concept is fun, I like it
    - You need more levels
    - No sound is NO FUN
    - How do I get to the main menu from the game screen? How do I pause?
    - Levels can be cheated if you place “Kloetzchen” on an obstacle. The level with the ruler can thus be completed in less than 5 seconds
    - You need more levels (wait, did I already say that?)
    - The game’s name is unpronouncable for anyone but Germans
    - You need more levels (hmm, Deja-Vu?)

But anyways, great effort, great game! I enjoyed it.
