Enjoy!
Well, first of all I wish you a Happy new Year and hope you got a couple of days off to get some rest.
It was a long time since my last post, but I had to start learning for university and got a lot of more work to do.
In my last weeks I started working with a couple of XmlLayouts and got some free time to spend on my first wish from Sitecore: A Dropdown with all Placeholder which are aviable on the current layout.
The good is that I finished this and want to post the source code and package on my blog, the worse: till now it is not supported to find placeholders in sublayouts defined before.
Enough words for the first, in my example you see that you can choose “no placeholder” or the standart placeholder “content” definied in the sample layout of a standard sitecore installation.
That is a first beta version, I still missing the placeholder of sublayouts.
There are a couple of more ideas which will make it more comfortable, but you can get a first impression. If you have any ideas, just leave me a comment.
I will post the first code and a package for testing in the next days, when I have finished the sublayouts.
Hope you like it, cheers chris
